Canon Bryan
President, CEO, Director

Canon Bryan is a financial professional who has held management positions for publicly-listed and privately-held companies in a variety of industries in North America. Throughout his career, Mr. Bryan has also provided M&A and corporate development services to clients in various industries. In 2007, Mr. Bryan founded Thorium One International Limited, a privately-held nuclear fuel company; he continues to serve as director, president and chief executive. He was a founding shareholder of Uranium Energy Corp (UEC: AMEX) in August 2004; UEC is a near-term producer of ISR uranium in the United States. He was a senior financial analyst for Lasik Vision Corporation (LSK:CDNX), which became the world’s largest provider of laser refractive surgical services during his tenure. He has also acted as interim chief financial officer for distressed publicly-listed companies in the USA. Mr. Bryan completed his professional studies in accounting with the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada; he is not designated.

Daniel Sutton, BEcon
Vice President of Finance

Mr. Sutton is a financial professional with a background in economics, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance utilizing quantitative methods. He has operated successful promotional ventures within the entertainment industry, and mentored at leading Canadian Investment Firm, Canaccord Capital. Mr. Sutton received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Victoria, with a particular focus in Finance and Natural Resource Economics.

Jason Kitts, LLB
Vice President of Strategy and Government Affairs

Mr. Kitts is an International Energy Lawyer who has been responsible for advising and negotiating on behalf of energy and infrastructure industry clients. He has recently advised on the interpretation and application of the Kyoto Protocol in Abu Dhabi, specifically issues related to carbon finance and the Clean Development Mechanism for Simmons & Simmons, an internationally based law firm. He has acted as a Senior Legal Advisor for Qatar-based Qatar Liquefied Gas Company Limited, and has a 10-year track record of involvement in sectors such as: Alternative Energy, LNG, Fuel Shipping, and Oil & Gas. He was called to the Bar in Alberta in 1999, after graduating from the University of Victoria Law program in 1998. He also has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, majoring in Urban Land Economics, where he qualified for the Dean’s list Honour Roll.

Richard Stewart, PhD
Vice President of Geology

Richard has more than 10 years experience in the geological and mining industry of South Africa. He obtained his PhD from Witswatersrand University. Prior to joining Thorium One and Gold One, Dr. Stewart was an investment Consultant for African Global Capital SA, and has also held a management position at Uranium One Africa and other companies. He co-founded Shango Solutions, a geological consultancy where he remains a non-executive director.

Johann Mouton
Vice President of Metallurgy

Mr. Mouton is a qualified metallurgist with over 20 years' experience. Mr. Mouton previously held senior management positions at Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited and more recently Uranium One. He is currently the Vice President of Metallurgy for Gold One International Limited.
